Uggghhhh August. The sun never seems to set and it's SO hot aka a lot less sleep. Cold brew coffee anyone?
If you've heard the phrase "cold brew coffee" and thought "well I can't make that it seems impossible", you're not the only one. Sounds like an oxymoron. However, I'm pleased to say it's the easiest thing ever.
Seriously. Here's the deal:
One: Coarsely ground your favorite roast of coffee beans and place them in a pitcher. If grind them too finely, you're brew will be "muddy". I grind them so there are still chunks of the coffee beans floating around.
Two: Pour cold water over the coffee beans. Chill for at least 12 hours.
Three: Strain through a filter. Add cream.
Aaaaand done. It's SO easy, just takes a little more time than your regular hot coffee brew 😎. Recipe below!
